Alternative to plastic pots

I need food pots for the kids as our plastic pots are all wearing out. I've seen stainless steel and bamboo, although very limited size options for the Bamboo. Neither are microwave safe though and nursery heats the food in our pots. Any gems I haven't come across?

I'm quite militant about cutting down plastic, but I still use tupperware.

I've not found a decent alternative, and as I'm using it (mainly) as an alternative to buying plastic wrapped convenience food it is dramatically cutting down waste.

If anyone does have any alternatives I'd love to hear them, though!
