Any tips for when we're getting our kitchen fitted?

Getting a new kitchen fitted in a couple of weeks. Will be without it for a week. Any tips for keeping sane?

Today is the start of the fourth week of my one week kitchen install.

Broken cabinets, wrong tiles, domestic emergency last week has meant it's dragged out. Still flooring and decorating to do. Washing machine plumbed in this weekend so my mum has been doing my washing.

Totally worth it though, my new kitchen will be fab!

Just an update. We're 2 and a half days in, and (if all continues smoothly) will be done by Friday /Saturday. Surprised about the lack of mess. Biggest hassle is having to wash up in bathroom.

Sounds good then. No plastering needed? I think that's what creates the worst of the dust.
