decised to change my tree and decorations this year after 7 years with same one and same decorations 5ft tree from asda and decorations from range spent just over £40, so what size tree do you get and how much would decorations be if you changed them, or do you use the same decorations year after year

I use the same decorations, but, since we've been a bit better off, we do treat ourselves to a real tree these days.
I like all the jumble of decorations that the dc have made or people have given us or I inherited from my childhood on our tree - it is more about the memories than 'style' Smile

We use the same decorations. As above, they’re a jumble - the tree is a representation of our lives. We have new decorations and ones from our childhoods.

We bought a 6ft artificial tree last year for around £60 I think. It was from B&Q.

thank you ladies when my kids were small we had lots of home made by them ones, now they have left home i try to go for a colour themelast seven years has been black artificial tree with silver tinsel and decorations, this years is green tree with red and gold baubles with silver bits in between

6 foot trees here, and I tend to buy an extra bauble or two each year. I've never done a fixed colour scheme, I'd hate to have to change all of our baubles in one year. Lots of ours have been picked up on holiday etc.
