Having a pondering moment, and wondered who decides on the names of items related to the internet, especially when that 'name' has already another meaning?
For example, a post, on Facebook
A thread on a forum
A wormhole that one might find themselves in.
At what point do people think "yep, ""that"" word , I know it means something else, but let's reuse it again to mean this instead?!"
Not meaning this to be critical, I'm just curious!
What other words can you think of that mean two things, one technology/ internet related and one not?
