Should I be worried or not?

After 18 months taking the pullback to back I stopped to give myself a break in July. My cycle returned to normal and I had a period in early August and early September, then nothing.

DH had a vasectomy over 10 years ago and we have not has sex more than twice in that time ( he isn't living here atm). I have had 2 negative pg tests which I took because I was freaked out. I am 35 with no real symptoms. Not sure if I should be freaking out or pleased!

What? Not sure what you’re asking. You’re unsure whether you should be freaking out or pleased that you’ve negative tests, no symptoms and your DH has had a vasectomy. Where does the ‘worry’ come in? Worried about what? Being pregnant or not being pregnant?

People miss periods all the time.

Taking the pill back to back for 18 months will screw with your cycle. Were you advised by your GP to do that?

Crunchymum · 17/11/2018 22:03

Just to clarify have tiubjad sex twice in a decade or twice since your last period?

Crunchymum · 17/11/2018 22:04
  • you had sex

Taking the pill back to back is absolutely fine and won’t mess with your body. GPS advise it now. I use the patch and the GP said to wear it continuously unless I want a period

I honestly don’t know why you’re worried. It’s totally normal for your cycle to not go completely back to a period every 28 days if you’ve had an extended period on the pill. Your husband is not fertile.

Chill out you are not pregnant.

GandolfBold · 18/11/2018 07:29

I know I am not pregnant, but I have now missed 2periods.

Aorry, I was a little anxious last night and getting myself a bit wound up, but I am much calmer this morning.life is a bit stressful at the moment.

It’ll just be your cycle syncing up. I expect if you have plans over Xmas you’ll have a two week really heavy period or something!

FWIW when I came off the pill after ten years but not taking back to back it was a good six months before I was back to normal 28 day cycle.
