Essay is: what are the possible roles of housing in alleviating social injustice.
I need to pick a case study around social housing and am really struggling to find a strategy or policy more focused on placement of social housing and provision rather than focus on homelessness prevention.
Any help please

Can't remember the policy name but look at mixed tenure housing.

I caught a really interesting story on radio 4 this week about social housing apartments in a new development in London. The required percentage were social housing but those residents weren't allowed to use any of the facilities that were free to others eg gym. There was talk about different entrances and bin areas etc in some developments. Pretty awful. Worth googling see if you can find the story maybe if seems relevant.

I too have just sat down to write an essay about making and remaking on a street. Good luck!

What about social housing focused on BME or LGBT groups? Lots of case studies

How about housing cooperatives?
