eBay help!

I sold something last week on eBay, product was worth 130 when new, I sold it for 25.
Product is completely unworn as it never fit, was tried on and stored but never worn out the house.
Buyer has requested a return as it is not as described.
Buyer has included pictures that include wear and dirt, and wants a partial refund.

How do I deal with this? I have yet to reply. I have no intention of refunding or excepting a return.

Unfortunately if the buyer opens an item not as described case, then the odds are pretty high that they will get a refund. Sad

It's a well known scam on Ebay, buy a nice outfit, wear it to a wedding or event then return as it's not as described.

Omg! Do people actually do that?!! I’m not going to reply for now and will wait and see Confused

eBay is awful for selling clothes. I won't sell on there anymore.
They're pretty good good on the phone if you have no luck with the resolution centre.
Someone tried to get a refund from me for describing it as the wrong size which wasn't true. They were awful and left me bad feedback.
The first person I spoke to on the phone said they couldn't do anything. The second person I rang resolved it for me.
Be persistent but eBay is normally on the buyers side.

Don't ignore it to wait and see. Ebay will refund them and you'll lose the money and the item. Speak to ebay asap.

I'm afraid if you don't reply and resolve the issue yourself the scammer buyer---- will likely escalate it to eBay/PayPal and not only will they refund the full amount, you'll get a strike on your selling account.

What's the persons feedback like? Check left for others too - can't do that on the app.

Personally, I don't do partial refunds, especially when I'm confident the item was immaculate. Ask her to return it using tracked post and you will refund on inspection of the condition. If she refuses then asks eBay to step in they'll issue her a prepaid tracked return label which will trigger an automatic refund as soon as it's scanned at the post office.

Sellers can't win anymore.

I’ve reported the buyer.... we’ll see what happens!

Good luck.
I don’t like that so much is on the buyers side now. I know buyers need rights but it’s swung completely in their favour.

I had a similar chancer try it on once. I pointed out to them that I had time stamped photos on my phone that proved it was not damaged when sold. They quickly backtracked!
