Similar boots to Fly Mes

I really must buy a new pair of boots this weekend. I know everyone says that Fly boots leak like a sieve and mine are no exception, but I love the look of them.
I'm quite short, so the mid calf length is just right for me- but can someone save me from myself; stop me buying yet another pair and suggest an alternative? I really can't wear knee high boots; I look ridiculous.

Be like me and buy fly but don't wear them in the rain! I have weird shaped toes and fly are such a good fit

Strangely, my very old original pair, leak very badly, but a more recent pair (still two years old) don't, but the zip has broken. They aren't worth repairing.
I love Fly boots.

You need to check foot width and calf width to suit

I bought mine 2 years ago. I wear them constantly from autumn-End of spring. They don’t leak. They are leather, so the leather needs waxing to keep them watertight (as leather is naturally porous), but they don’t leak through stitching etc.

Happy those boots look lovely, but I think they'd be too long for my legs.

How did you get on at Moshulu?

I only know about them as a girl at work was wearing them and they looked so much like Fly, I said-ooh, I love your Fly boots and she looked baffled! I’d be interested to know if they are as comfortable and if they are waterproof. That’s the only problem with my Fly boots (I have 7 pairs!) and DMs (zip wedge ones rather than 8/10 hole) which are also leaky :(
