I need to walk down a pitch black country lane twice tonight. The train station is at the other end and I live on the lane. My car is in the garage so I can't drive. A taxi wouldn't take me its literally 500 meters.
But no streetlights, one lane bordered by fields and hedges on each side and two houses.
I need to walk to the station which i'm not so bothered about as I think there will still be dog walkers as it will be 7pm. Then I need to walk back about 11pm and nobody will be around.
Any hints or tips on feeling braver! I could take a torch but I only have a big flashlight (was thinking I could stash it at the train station and grab it on the way back?)
I have no neighbours to give me a lift...no family or friends in the village either.
