Would you buy something on Ebay if you weren't entirely convinced it was genuine?

It's under £20 and would really help me out of a predicament BUT although there are some ok reviews I'm not entirely sure.
Is it worth a gamble? From what I read, if I use PayPal I'll be covered if something goes wrong.

Thanks

Is it drastically cheaper than rrp? If you're basing it on "some ok reviews" I personally wouldn't bother even if I was covered.

does it matter if it's 'genuine'?

Can it charge your iphone or can you wear it to the ball, or do you need to sell it on for even more money? Depends on purpose, tbh.

If it sounds too hood to be true, it probably is.

Obviously

Only non-genuine item I've ever purchased was some perfume. Instant refund when I flagged it, no problems. However be aware that if the seller digs their heels in, disputes can drag on.

BiscuitDrama · 16/11/2018 11:44

As others said, does the predicament depend on it being genuine?

Does the seller have any other reviews saying ‘fake’.

You’re right about PayPal though, if you can show it’s fake. Will you be able to if it is?

Depends what it is
I buy makeup brush copies as they're cheap and not a big loss if crap. Same for tweezers, beauty tools etc
Electrical - nope, no way

Thanks for the replies. The item is a toy. Maybe genuine is the wrong word. I'm not so much concerned about the brand but whether they have the items at all.
Very sought after brand but can't find even any mention of these any where else.
