We need to sell

We need to sell our house. What things would you look out for which would encourage you to buy or put you off buying. It's a ground floor flat in London.

We are (semi) desperate 🤞🏼

😍😁

If I was looking at a ground floor flat I would want it to be a high ground flat meaning that the windows are too high up for people walking by to see into the flat. I would be looking out for dampness.

If you're selling it online, make sure there's good pictures and the flat looks clean and tidy. I'm looking for flat at the moment and those are the main things that put me off, when a flat has only two pictures and looks as clean as a prison cell.

De clutter, de personalise, clean, pots washed and away, beds made - all these things so it looks cared for. (Basically a lived in show house so I can imagine my stuff in there)

Completely de clutter and paint neutral. Also ensure security is decent! And use one of the better estate agents if your flat has any difficulty selling (eg ours had no parking off or on street)

Clean and tidy. I’m basically looking at room sizes. Things like your furniture and personal stuff doesn’t bother me, I know it won’t be there when you’re gone!
Good luck Flowers

De clutter, not too many personal bits and pieces, just enough to look lived in and homely.
Clean windows-inside and out.
Clean and tidy outside space-kerb appeal.

For Internet purposes a good, detailed floor plan and good pictures.
