Most of the stuff online seems to be heavily weighted towards girls (understandable given periods etc)

I’m a single mum so no man to ask either!

DS 11 is quite short compared to peers and one of the youngest in his year. He’s actually under investigation at the growth clinic, follow ups every 6mths etc.

Last week he suddenly developed greasy skin and broke out in spots on his forehead. His hair is quite greasy too. Today he walked past me and there was a distinct waft of BO. I told him to have a shower and he lifted up his arm and said I don’t smell, but out of the clear blue sky he suddenly has armpit hair!

I’ve googled and it seems this is considered quite a late puberty sign not one of the first ones? Has anyone else’s boys started off with armpit hair etc, he hasn’t grown a cm in months!

DS was about 11 when he started puberty. It just kinda started really suddenly. He shot up a good few inches and he sprouted lots of hair! Really stinky too plus spots galore. His voice broke properly at 12, again it was a really quick process.

DS was also very quick, bough he was around 14. He suddenly shot up, his hair got greasy, he got spots and his voice broke, all in the space of about two months (I have no idea about the other areas and no desire to know if I'm honest!)
He doesn't seem to have BO, despite my ongoing failure to get him to use deodorant. He does shower religiously every day, but so do I and I honk without deodorant Hmm
