A bit like a ‘what has your child ate today?’ thread, but a ‘what has your child done today?’ I’m always looking for ideas

I have 2 DC who were in school and then onto a school club till 5:30 so it’s been a long day of just me, the 3 year old (DS2) and the 9 month old (DD2) today

We have -
Dropped kids at school at 8:30 then straight on to playgroup 9-11
Home for a nap for DD2 until 12:45, me and DS2 watched pj masks for half an hour after a hall full of toddlers
Then we made an unholy mess with some playdoh
Met my mum for lunch at 1ish then had a wander round M&S after
Took dog for a walk around 3ish
DD2 had another nap around 4 so DS2 played in the playroom while I sorted dinner
DD2 woke up just before 5
Now I’m about to load them in the pram to pick DC 1 & 2 up and pray the toddler doesn’t fall asleep before we get back
Then it’ll be dinner, baths, stories and bed for the little 2

What have you done with your younger DC today?

She was at nursery yesterday but today we’ve got a day to ourselves doing some fun things and some domestic things.

We’ve already done some painting and made a cake that’s currently in the oven. I’m regretting getting the glitter out.

Currently she’s watching CBeebies while I write a shopping list and do my make up.

Off to the park at 9 to burn off some of her boundless energy then to the supermarket to do the weekly shop (armed with snacks to keep her quiet!).

Home to drop off the shopping then into town to meet my husband for lunch which we do maybe once a month or so.

Home for nap 1-3

Playtime at home, mix of me sitting playing with her and leaving her to it. We’ll read some books and probably have a bit more tv. Maybe a pootle in the garden for some more fresh air.

5 we’ll make dinner, then husband will be home to play with her for an hour before bath/bed/tidy up.

Pretty standard day except no playgroups here on a Friday.
