Got to go on a 3hr train journey with newish boss, he is retirement age who I don’t really know or meet regularly as I work from home.

I need to book train tickets so we can work on the journey.

Do I book seats opposite or side by side?

Sorry if this sounds a pathetic question and I’m overthinking but side by side is probably more practical for work but feels personal (would book side by side with DH).

side by side is safer. Face to face means a risk of accidental footsie!

See I would go opposite aisle. But I would do that with hubby also.

Wouldn’t one of you be sitting ‘backwards’ if you choose seats opposite? Would this make either of you ill?
