Smaller pannel on the back window smashed, broken glass everywhere. Nothing taken as far as i can see.

Logged it with the police and phoned to get the window fixed. Its going to be at least a couple of hours till they can get here though, am i ok to leave my car where it is and go up to my flat while i wait? I can see it from my window, but obviously its unsecured atm. Dont really know what to do.

As there's nothing to steal from the car, I wouldn't worry about leaving it - especially as you can see it from your window. I doubt anyone will try to nick the car either.

So apparently the glass cant get fixed until tomorrow at the earliest, is it ok to leave ot with a broken window till then?? Not sure how to secure it until then?

Honestly thought this was something that could be done on the same day, but apparently not. They originally tried to tell me it would be the 22nd at the earliest.

Sorry to hear this.
Use black bin bag and sticky tape to make it water proof. Hopefully someone will come along to advice you about how to complaint to your insurance company / subcontractors.

Ive taped it up with a black bag from the inside, so its covered but not toally flush against the window iykwim. Only have cheap selotape so dont think it would withstand any rain if i taped on the outside.

So its waterproof but still not exactly very secure.
