So my heating hasnt been working since ive moved into my new flat 2 month ago. (The hot water works fine)
Not really a big issue for me yet as me and OH dont think its cold enough for heating + ive got hot water bottle, blankets etc. And id rather just wrap up than blast the heating for 20 mins..
Anyway my landlord has said hed get his handy man to come have a look at it, but this handyman is so freaking useless at arranging a time to come out im getting a bit narked.
Last week for example hed asked when me or partner were free, i said is friday okay? I got no reply back.
Next thing I know im getting a call at work asking me if im home because hes outside?!?!
I said no im at work and OH is shopping.
I apologised but had I known he was coming I couldve made suitable arrangments.
Next thing i know my landlord is calling me 'handyman says hes tried to arrange a few times and not heard from you'
I said oh quite the contrary! Hes not letting me know when hes coming so how am I to know to be home??
He understood, said when is a good day for me, i said wednesday (today) as im off.
Landlord said ok i will get him to get in touch with you.
Ive still not heard from him. Ive just popped to the shop there and I can almost garuantee he'll of knocked when Im out(been gone just under and hour)
HOWEVER.... ive had no text message or phone call from him to let me know when hell be coming, all i knew was that hed be getting in touch for wednesday.
I work with tradesmen day in and day out and i know fine well they make appoitments to come out. Even if its between 8 and 10 for example.
I literally dont understand how its so hard?
Ive rang him before and got no reply, text him and got no reply. Arranged a day through landlord and got no response from him.
Should I text him and ask if hes got a time? Letting him know i had to pop out?
I feel like its me doing something wrong, am I?
