Ovulation pain????

Been experiencing what I thought were mild ovulation pains all day.

Suddenly this evening I've got severe pelvic pain and feel terribly sick. I think it feels like a 'Gynae' pain but can barely stand up and am shaking and sweating.

Any ideas what this could be? Just ovulation?

I get appalling Ovulation pain OP, it's shit. If this isn't normal for you could you have a UTI? I'd get yourself down the doctors if possible and do a urine sample.
Any changes to your cycle or unexplained bleeding and pain = GP. Have you ever had an ovarian cyst?
The only way of really knowing is seeking medical advice, which I would do, even if it's 'just' a UTI or cystitis - they can be pure agony. Try a warm bath or heat wrap/hot water bottle and painkillers in the meantime, it won't be a miracle worker but might offer some sort of relief.

It's subsided this morning although I didn't get a lot of sleep.
After googling away I think it's probably cyst so going to the GP tomorrow.
Just feels like a dull ache now
