What does your DD wear for nursery photo?

DD having her first nursery photo next week. I hadn't thought much about what she would wear until they reminded me today to pack what I want her to wear for the photo.
Just wondered what others dress their DD in? I obviously was going to dress her nice but now thinking from the way it was said maybe a nice dress?

Dress her in whatever you feel she would look nice in Smile

My DS had his first ever photo last week. I dressed him in a nice looking casual top and normal trousers. Typical toddler outfit really. I considered dressing him up in a lovely formal outfit (waist coat, bow tie, smart trousers etc.) but I wanted his photos to reflect him at nursery: a messy, cheeky 18 month old with cow licks in his hair Grin

I tried to put mine in something tidy, which I didn't mind getting paint on. A tricky balance! Preschool pics were much easier since they have a 'uniform' 😀

It depends wether you intend to buy them or not! I never do I prefer normal taken by us pictures, school photos are always strange looking - like passport photos Grin

Depends what kind of photo you want really.

Dd was photographed in a paint stained t shirt and joggers. Both of which were her older sister's BlushGrin

Partly cos I didn't know there were going to be photos and partly because I prefer more natural photos. Pristine looking children arent what i had. So would have just looked odd to me.

The grin in these tatty secind hand stained clothes though...beautiful .

However several years in primary scholl later and we still looks like she entered via the branble bush Grin

Send her in, in what's her.

Bucking the trend but we go full on Sunday or party best because it’s such a rare chance Grin they are too often grubby in my own photos
