I can’t stop crying and I can feel my breathing is getting out of control. I’m just so ill and I want to run away.

Only just seen this. How are you now?

GeorgieTheGorgeousGoat · 13/11/2018 20:17

Much better thank you. Had a big melt down but seems to have subsided. Very tired now though which doesn’t help.

Thanks for answering.

Can anyone help? Struggling to put one foot in front of the other this morning. Need to snap myself out of it.

Breathe in for 8 seconds (through your nose)

Hold for 6

Breather out for 8 seconds

Repeat when you need to calm yourself.

I second op advice about breathing.
I also go for short walks.
Try headspace app? 3 minute breathing meditation for anxiety?
Trying to keep busy.
I hope you feel better soon.

Thank you, have really tried to stay busy today. I’m receiving CBT but in that moment it all goes out the window and feels too much. I just needed someone to talk to. Dh was at work.

How are you now?
Do you have any idea whats triggering the attacks?
When i feel one coming on I count anything cars going buy trees kerb stones anything there are a few of. Also if possible start walking briskly.
Remember it is only a panic attack and even if nothing happens to get it under control it will burn its self out in about 20mins as your body depletes its adrenaline.

I messed up at work yesterday and might well have done myself out of money. I just keep feeling huge waves of regret.

That’s today’s issue anyway. It seems to be anything and everything at the moment that can set it off.

Thank you for talking to me.
