Am I pregnant?!

Hi all, first timer here. I’m 26 and think I may be pregnant. I took a test 2 days ago (the day my period was due) that said the words pregnant and took one about an hour after that said 1-2 weeks. However I have taken 2 tests since then both with very faint barely visible positive lines. Could this be a false positive. I also have pcos. Any help or stories are really appreciated. Thank you

I’m sorry to say Clueless but if you’re testing a few days after your periods due and they are very faint then there is a slight chance it might be a chemical pregnancy. I really hope I’m wrong. Can you post a photo of the tests?

Other than the digital, which tests did you use?

Clueless92 · 13/11/2018 06:53

I have no idea how to post a picture Blush. First was a boots digital. Second was a clear blue 1-2 weeks. Third was a clue blue normal one and fourth was a Morrison’s own branded. I take my pill on time and never miss it. So this is a huge shock to me. Thank you.

I took 3 Morrison’s test that came back negative. Turns out I was pregnant. I wouldn’t trust them at all.

Clueless92 · 13/11/2018 09:50

Ah thanks everyone. I’ll wait a few days and do another.

First response and Clearblue are the more reliable brands imo. I'm in a similar position, but I'm 19 dpo, and none of the usual pre-menstrual symptoms, my cheap as chips urine dip tests have been less than forthcoming, so I'm waiting to use a First Response test later in the week, to see if hcg levels are higher then. If its still a negative, then we'll start again next cycle.

First response are reliable. I'd go with one of them. I took one day before AF due and late in the afternoon and it was a clear +.

Clearblue need quite high levels of pregnancy hormones to give a positive result so I would say you almost certainly are

I’ve taken another test tonight and it’s a clear positive. This wasn’t something we had planned and always wanted to wait to have a child together. My bf already has a child (5yo) and has made it pretty clear he thinks the timing couldn’t be worse. I thought I was on the same page until this happened but now I’m so confused. I feel his negativity may influence a decision that I don’t know if I’ll be able to live with. Has anybody had any similar experiences?
