I know, it’s so sad. I know he lived to a grand old age but I’m still shocked. Stan Lee! I’ve had to tell dd and she was in bits. I’m watching every Marvel movie I own at the weekend and celebrating that great man

CheddarIsNotTheOnlyCheese · 12/11/2018 22:10

Such a legend. He will never be forgotten. My dh is gutted.

This weekend I'm binge watching every Marvel film I can get my hands on Sad

Given his age I shouldn’t be surprised, but somehow I am Sad i think I shall be hosting a Marvel marathon in his honour this weekend.

My daughter is wondering what his last cameo will be, as we’re assuming he filmed a few at once due to his age.

LordNibbler · 12/11/2018 22:20

He was an amazing man. I somehow expected him to live forever.

shadypines · 12/11/2018 22:24

RIP. Amazing talent.

Ioki · 12/11/2018 22:32

I expected him to be immortal, for some reason, as silly as that sounds. I’m not one to cry at celebrity deaths but this one made me properly blue, I think it’s because of my marvel obsession... he really created something magical!

YouBetterWORK · 12/11/2018 23:22

Couldn't believe it, well he was 95 it's a good innings as they say, but like loki I thought he'd be around forever. Sad

NeverTalksToStrangers · 12/11/2018 23:25

This has made me sad. Ds2 shouts out "Stan Lee!" every time we see one of the movies in the cinema.Sad

Agree with others that he seemed somehow immortal. What an amazing cultural contribution he made in his long life.
