Bloody Facebook is listening to me (seriously)

This website has just been offered me as an advert. It literally says in the 'about us' blurb that Dyson operates their website and app

They have copied EVERYTHING! The advert, the Dyson address, the Dyson real videos !

Eh? Is it not dyson advert?

The price would make me think it's counterfeit, is that what you're getting at OP?

Yes, so obviously counterfeit. On Facebook - how are they getting away with it?

I've been texting my friend back and forth all day about buying one. We've both watched the you tube video today, we've both added it to our baskets (I've not bought mine yet)

And then this pops up. This is NO coincidence

And yes I reported it to Facebook as a scam

It's not a scam its just counterfeit goods and yes if you have your microphone turned on in the facebook app it will listen to show you targeted adverts.

I mean surely Facebook is responsible for not showing counterfeit adverts?

I keep getting ads for fake Uggs. There are loads of Internet scammers and even if you succeed in banning the one you saw, there will be 10 others on all platforms peddling this to people.

I just had one for fake Radley bags. Put it into a scam checker site and too good to be true and it came back dodgy.

Ads are tailored based on tracking cookies, so going on Dyson website, watching Dyson videos, adding it to the cart, is why your now getting dyson ads.
They get through because of the sheer volume of advertisers on Facebook, most of its ai rather then manual checks, the minute you ban one another one will be up. Its a cat and mouse game with social media companies and fake ads.
