What am I supposed to do with this dinosaur now it’s hatched then?

Ds was delighted with waiting for it to emerge from its egg and now he couldn’t care less. He’s also binned the instructions.

Am I supposed to dry it out? Will it shrivel up? Or do I leave it in its tiny little cold bath, staring at me sadly with its one skyward eye?

I’m going to end up naming him Brian and buying him a Christmas stocking aren’t I? Hmm

Ours is sitting sadly on the dresser, utterly ignored now its out of the shell.

(It is out of the jar and dry though - no noticeable shrivelment.)

We dried ours out and now it is somewhere over there

It didn't shrivel.

They feel oddly slimy when you get them out! Ours is in the toybox, he stayed in the water for quite a while so he looks a bit bloated!

Ours stayed slimy for ages then oddly, shrank a bit Confused.

Ours shrank loads. It's somewhere in my eldest's room. It gets looked at occasionally.

I put ours on the radiator as it was all slimy. It has now rapidly shrunk and has grooves in two of its feet where it melted a bit.

We have the unicorn one....it's somewhere around... it shrunk a bit after and felt slimey.. now it looks a little wrinkled and paleGrin

Hmmm. Operation dry out it is then. Apart from anything else, I’d quite like my Pyrex bowl back, for all the baking I never do.
