We're getting a new kitchen fitted. Supplied by one of the large kitchen companies and delivered about 6 weeks ago. the first thing the fitter did was to check off all the items had been delivered. We're having one of those boiling water taps which comes in two parts - the tap itself and the tank for under the counter. Although the delivery note was correct, the wrong tap had been delivered.
Fitter dealt with it all, called the company who said they'd send a replacement tap AND reservoir, and to have the other ones ready for collection. Which we did. New tap and tank arrived as promised. Courier had no instruction to pick up spares, so wouldn't take them.
Tap and tank are now sitting in the garage where they've been for a month. Kitchen is now signed off as "completed" and the company have never mentioned this extra tap.
Should we be chasing them or keep quiet? Retail price for the combination of the tap and hte tank is around £450.
