CIPD?

Does anyone have experience with getting a CIPD qualification?

I studied HR at uni and currently working in a HR office however want to gain a qualification to enhance my CV and get a better career.

I am looking at level 5 however can’t find much info about how I would be assessed - is it exams or coursework? Has anyone done this purely online instead of attending classes?

Any info would be much appreciated!

I have a level 7 and a Masters and tutor on both the level 7 and masters now.

If you did HR at uni and work in it I would just go for the Level 7. That’s what most employers look for anyway.

I was going to say the same as the previous poster. If you want to progress in HR, do the level 7, so you can work towards chartered membership of the CIPD, which is what many employers will look for when they recruit.

Thank you both! How do they assess level 7? Did you do classroom sessions or online? I’m planning on moving across the country next year so concerned about whether or not I would be able to do classroom sessions
