This says that whilst the failure rate is low, it is possible to get pregnant on implanting.

Two friends for pregnant on the implant, one had a healthy baby and the other was rushed to hospital as she had a miscarriage and didn’t know she was pregnant at the time.

My tests came up with two pink lines and I’m just doubting myself that this could happen on the implant

Contraception is never 100% safe. When I was at school (not UK) they actually taught the percentages which highlighted why you should always use two methods. Back then most had percentages in the 90% range. A bit too low for just one method.

Mind, that was more than 25 yrs ago

It’s supposed to be 99% effective but I’ve heard of this happening before and I’m in total panic if it was just my hormones I don’t understand why I’d get positive results

If you have multiple positive pregnancy tests, you are almost certainly pregnant. It can’t be ‘just hormones’; it is extremely rare to have a false positive.
