I’m losing weight.

I’m not making an effort to lose weight, I eat rubbish but wondering now if there’s something wrong. Always been a size 10-12. But now am 8-10 but I feel skinny. Due you think it’s due to breastfeeding a 1year old and 2 1/2 year old - I’m still feeding a lot. Think maybe I feel skinny as lack of tone in my muscles?

I think you should see your GP to rule out any underlying cause of the weightloss. I don't know much about breastfeeding but feeding two children must be using up a fair few calories - are you factoring this into your diet? Perhaps try to replace the calories spent on breast feeding with some healthy, nutritious foods as a way of steering your diet away from the rubbish?

I'd go to the gp just for peace of mind I think. I'm bf my second child, I've been breast feeding non stop since the birth of my first 3.5 years ago
I'm fatter than I've ever been. Like 3 stone fatter.

What’s your weight now? What was your weight before?

Bababoo13 · 10/11/2018 21:08

Thanks everyone.

purpledaisys I don’t actually no, I think I was around 10 1/2 stone before but not 100% sure and not a clue what I Way now. I was a heavy size 10 even though I didn’t look it - my dads the same, pit it down to the fact we both did loads of sport when we were younger

Do you have any symptoms apart from losing weight? Any night sweats?

Oly5 · 10/11/2018 21:22

Definitely see your gp as unexplained weight loss needs checking.
But sounds like you’re BF a lot so I’d put money on it being that!

jilltedjohnjulie I get hit in the night but not sweats think that more down to being 4 in the bed 😳.

I think I’m really only eating the same as I have ever done. I was hungry all the time the first few weeks my both dd and ds were born but then kind of just went back to normal
