Morning all,
I’ve been around here for donkeys but not posted in about 5 years. Need some reassurance please. My cycle is normally 23 days (I am rubbish at tracking!) was chatting to DH last night and said I thought I might be late. I’ve been a total bitch for about a week and would have expected something by now. DH agreed (with both lateness and bitchiness!) and between us we worked out I’m on about day 32. Obviously I KNOW the answer is a test but I’m not going to be able to get to the shops without my —nosey— kids until this pm and then I suppose it would be sensible to wait until tomorrow morning.
However - during half term I had an issue with my neck which basically went into muscle spasm and locked itself. I was given diazepam for night time and told to use sparingly - only took 3. Could that delay things?
My main issue is that I’ve got a copper coil. It’s a ten year one, put in after DD was born so 7 years old now. I had some bleeding about a week ago and thought it might be piles (Christ I’m so glad none of you know me), but now I’m wondering if it was spotting. I know there are risks associated with being pregnant with a coil so I assume I need to find out sooner rather than later? My boobs are slightly sore but that could be period coming. They don’t usually get sore but this is very mild so it may be I never normally notice.
I’m sorry for the rambling. I’ve got a 9 and 7 year old and really thought I was done. I would be very ambivalent about a third pregnancy and I think all I want is hand holding until I find out one way or another.
