She's vomited twice already and has been up since midnight. We've tried everything to get her back to sleep but I think her belly is too sore. Currently lying on sofa with her watching in the night garden. I think it's just a stomach bug. No fever or anything.

My 4 year olds an early riser abs will be up in about 2.5 hours, Tomorrow will be fun!

Poor DD and poor you Flowers
Currently feeding 6mo DS after a long 1.5 he stretch of sleep Hmm
DD is an early riser too so I’ll join you for a day of trying to stay awake

VelociraptorRex · 10/11/2018 03:30

Yup same here - projectile vomiting 2yo, thought we'd got him sorted and settled at 1:30 but we're awake again Envy

GrandmaSharksDentures · 10/11/2018 03:30

I'm up too, on a night shift

Oh those were the days @ImSpeakingFigurativelyOfCourse 😬
Can't say I'm sad to see the back of them so you too have my sympathy. My 2 are generally ok-ish at sleeping now.

Oh yikes hello everyone!

What time are you on until @GrandmaSharksDentures

Solidarity @VelociraptorRex. Really hoping she settles soon but really doesn't look like it.

DP said a friend's kids came down with this bug and it passed within 24 hours, so I'm hopeful we might get some sleep tomorrow night! Good job I have extra duvets and pillows, washing machine has been on the go since 10pm...

VelociraptorRex · 10/11/2018 03:42

@ImSpeakingFigurativelyOfCourse I feel for you, the lack of sleep and 2-hourly feeds are not something I miss!

LMW1990 · 10/11/2018 03:55

Up here too. DSS 3 up all night with a persistent cough absolutely refusing to take medicine even though it eases the coughing. DP snoring in the small gaps between DSS coughing. DSS and DSD alternating between their own beds and ours. I'm furthest from the door so it's like 'there were three in the bed' and I've got about a mm of room. It's like Chinese water torture in Piccadilly Circus. I've come downstairs for a cup of tea and a slice of sanity

GrandmaSharksDentures · 10/11/2018 04:17

I'm here till 8am.
Sorry to hear so many are up with poorly kids, it must be the start of the winter bugs!

VelociraptorRex · 10/11/2018 04:22

Yup looks like it, I'm hoping this is the only one he gets! DP is complaining he feels poorly too though Hmm third change of bedding for DS so far...

Horses4 · 10/11/2018 04:23

Yes, vomiting 5 year old here 🤢

Ilovecrumpets · 10/11/2018 05:27

Hello I’ve been up since 3 am with 6 year old with temp and complaining of severe stomach pain but no vomiting ( I almost wish there was as have a background worry). 3 1/2 woke at 4 as well and won’t go back to sleep. Single parent so just me and youngest been waking all week so am on my knees Sad

Horses4 · 10/11/2018 05:56

Yep, single parent here too. Super anxious as her big sister is immunosuppressed because of meds she is on and she had terrible abdominal pain last night. That’s our weekend wiped out😭

screamer1 · 10/11/2018 06:03

@Ilovecrumpets @Horses4 hoping things improve for you both. You must both be exhausted.

We had a 1.5 hour sleep and she's back up screaming in agony. Actually going to call 111 now as I wouldn't mind getting her checked out by out of hours.

Ilovecrumpets · 10/11/2018 06:06

I’ve just called 111 and they’ve advised me to go to a and e as wait for out of hours is long. I will have to try and get a taxi as don’t have a car ☹️ Hope everyone else’s little ones pick up soo

screamer1 · 10/11/2018 06:42

Good luck @Ilovecrumpets. We're off to ooh go.

OP posts:
Ilovecrumpets · 10/11/2018 06:43

Hope your little ones ok as well @screamer1. What a night

VelociraptorRex · 10/11/2018 07:03

@Ilovecrumpets @screamer1 I hope all of your little ones are ok Thanks

Horses4 · 10/11/2018 07:12

Good luck @Ilovecrumpets and @screamer1 Hope you are seen quickly and it’s nothing awful
