I used to have a pillow that felt exactly like a really good feather pillow, but wasn't. It had the proper feather feel, you could shake the filling all around and poke and prod it into the proper pillow shape for your head. It was way, way overdue for replacement and the label was so faded I couldn't read it. I bought a new pillow that I thought would do the job but it's just sad and limp and lumpy.
I have joint issues so I like to have all the 'stuffing' up one end of the pillow so I can hug it, and have my head on the almost empty other end. Yes I'm weird.
I'm allergic to feathers so that's not an option.
