My son has just started cubs and got his new uniform plus a load of badges to sew on. I was given them and asked for them to be on for Sunday's remembrance service. I thought fair enough i sewed a cushoin at school once went and bought some thread and needle and have now been sitting here for 2hours and have taken the first one off 4 times as it's either wonky or looks shit. Blush

So what average things can't you do?

I can't seem to manage a long term romantic relationship, no idea why think I'm too used to being single now!

naicepineapple · 11/11/2018 21:43

Walk without a limp 🤷🏼‍♀️

Stilllivinginazoo · 11/11/2018 21:45

Easter holidays lay bag flat in front of you.grab a handle in each hand and pull them away from each other.waitrise assistant taught me that!!

I can't drive,or do anything on a computer

I can pick things up with my feet, and write legibly with either hand and build flat pack furniture.

I really struggle with the twenty four hour clock. It takes me ages to mentally work out say quarter to two and would write it down in my diary as quarter to two.

FinallyFree123456789 · 11/11/2018 22:09

I can't -:
Ice skate
Whistle
Click my fingers
Left & right ... my hands go one way my mouth says the other

frankie001 · 11/11/2018 23:39

Whistle

Get angry. Yes, I can snap or be irritable, but I never get that feeling of seeing red and seething for minutes let alone hours.

Petitepamplemousse · 13/11/2018 22:53

That’s really nice. I like men who can’t get angry easily.

DadDadDad · 13/11/2018 23:00

I'm not really saying it as a boast. I mean there are some situations where I'm conscious I'm a bit unemotional and it would probably be more normal to get angry - obviously, not violent raging in someone's face, but there is a place in our world for a burning indignation at someone who has done something morally unacceptable.

Petitepamplemousse · 13/11/2018 23:05

Oh I know you weren’t - it’s just having experienced some extremely angry men in my life, I think it’s a massive plus!
You’re right there are absolutely some situations when anger is justified and normal.

DadDadDad · 13/11/2018 23:16

I’m sorry to hear of your experiences.

I look at my sons, both teenagers who can get angry in their own ways, and wonder (and worry) whether they’ll have mature ways to deal with anger when they are adults. I hope at least that my calmness will give them one example that throwing a big strop, banging things, shouting etc isn’t necessary to get what one wants.

Rinoachicken · 13/11/2018 23:41

I can’t fit my hand into pringles tubes! They get passed around and once past a certain point I can’t reach them and have to tip the tube (and get covered in crumbs), it’s so frustrating watching everyone else reach in and grab a handful and I’m stuck wiggling my fingers inside the tube trying to snag one to no avail

tinatsarina · 13/11/2018 23:48

@PutYourShirtOnMartin are you me?

Didyeeaye · 13/11/2018 23:52

I can't clean windows. Honestly I try my best and they always end up streaky or smudged no matter what product or technique I use!

chloem93 · 14/11/2018 00:24

Can't swallow tablets at all. I either have to have liquid form or crushed up but that tastes terrible Sad I tried forcing myself when I was a kid but it never worked.
