So looking for some alcohol free beer and ciders. Want to be able to have a drink without having to be worried about getting too drunk and having to go home early at a party. By the way my favourite current beers are Stella, Budweiser, Coors and Heineken. And as for cider it's Orchard thieves, Magners and old mount. Really hate Kopparberg not really my thing

Heineken do a 0% its lovely.

HoosierDaddy · 09/11/2018 21:33

Another vote for Heineken 0% - I think it tastes very similar to normal Heino. Erdinger also do a nice beer.

Thatchers do a low alcohol one.

Really like cobra zero - but it can be hard to find. Only one Sainsbury’s near me stocks it.

Meet0nTheIedge · 09/11/2018 21:34

Heineken 0 gets my vote too.

Necks Blue is good so long as very well chilled.

LampHat · 09/11/2018 21:34

Brewdog’s Nanny State is delicious, but maybe not lager-y enough for you. Becks Blue is fine too.

IAmNotLikeThem · 09/11/2018 21:34

Becks even

MrWolfknowsthetime · 09/11/2018 21:40

I quite like Becks Blue.

Not on a Friday night though Wine

doggylover2 · 09/11/2018 21:47

@MrWolfknowsthetime neither do I just want something that I can slot inbetween my drinks at parties so I can still have a beer or cider but not get totally wasted

Erdinger

Adnams do a Ghost Ship low alcohol and a bitter, Sainsbury's pilsner is also good apparently. DH recommends looking on drydrinker.com

BuggerOffAndGoodDayToYou · 09/11/2018 23:05

If you like ale than Adnams Ghost Ship 0.05% is lovely. Hard pressed to tell the difference between that and the “full fat” Ghost Ship.

chipsandpeas · 09/11/2018 23:07

old mout berrires and cherries comes in a 0% it tastes like the alcohol version

Vegisgrowingwell · 09/11/2018 23:16

Adnams ghost ship is brilliant. St Peter's also do one which is lovely too. Some pubs round here have the ghost shop on tap now which is great!

Vegisgrowingwell · 09/11/2018 23:17

Just read your post properly and you are a larger drinker. I can also recommend becks blue, doesn't have that weird after taste
