I was reading something on here the other day about retro alcoholic drinks. People were pining after Taboo.

Was looking at fancy gin in Morrison's last night. Saw Taboo. Thought I'd let you know.

I don't drink at all now but years ago I used to love Taboo. Tbh I didn't know it was hard to get.

Ooh I love a taboo and lemonade. That is retro, will pop by and pick some up for Christmas definitely not every weekend between now and then, nope

Used to love Taboo, they did another one called Mirage too.

Just a hint. You’re supposed to add a mixer. Don’t knock back wine glasses full of it or you’ll end up crawling up the stairs, laughing hysterically and will likely feel pretty crap the next day.

I remembet getting drunk once on Archers once when i wss a student.

Tia Maria is lush poured over Mackies ice cream. So is most alcohol to be fair.

Good lord, Taboo! Lovely refreshing drink, with lemonade and ice. Takes me right back to 1989.

What was the one in double bottle-one half black and the other white? Does that makes sense?

Ooh. Don't Iceland sell it? Or a version of? (I'm under 40 but Scottish; that's relevant as it's a key ingredient in a Buckaroo)

Yep the black and white one that resembled an alcoholic car-cleaning product was indeed Sheridan's. I ran an off-licence for 3 years and sold not one bottle...
