Only two months into secondary and DS is miserable. He has always struggled at school (ADHD and dyslexia) but despite that always used to enjoy it. He's now saying most days that he doesn't want to go.
I've had to speak to school about three different children teasing or threatening him. He cried last night and said he's "fed up of being pushed around". He was messaged by another boy the other day, also 11, and was called a "fucking cunt".
School are mostly useless and just say he "seems happy" to them. They are more fussed about DS' behaviour in class which is admittedly poor due to his ADHD and probably the stress of all this.
Is it too soon just to change to a new school? I can't bear to see my happy boy turning into a scared and miserable child ðŸ˜
