Can you recommend a big placemat to protect the table from my toddler?

I'm sick of tripping over the highchair in my tiny dining room so I've removed the tray from the chair and pushed it up to the table. I bought DD a placemat but it's not quite big enough to do the job.

Has anyone found a huge placemat that stays in place that you could recommend?

I'm really trying to avoid having to hide the entire table under one of those plasticky table cloths...

It's not fashionable or sexy but we use an XL feeding mat meant for a cat or a dog lol. They're massive, non-slip, waterproof and wipe clean
