The Co-op does a Pinot noir that is light and oh so very drinkable.

Wolf Blass Cab Sav is often on special and super tasty.

Campo Rioja Tempranillo also fab.

I'm also a fan of Argentinian Malbec. I also like a Shiraz (which might be the same grape).

DH likes a Merlot.

I like Fridays, which is when I drink all these delicious things!

DoorbellsSleighbellsSchnitzel · 08/11/2018 23:47

My current favourites are Yellowtail Jammy Red Roo, and also Jamshed Shiraz

Forforkssake1 · 23/11/2018 16:26

Tesco finest Argentinean malbec is really nice

RoyalHausblinds · 23/11/2018 16:30

Fustino V without doubt

ShivD · 23/11/2018 16:32

Primitivo is my new fave, easy to drink and just lovely.

Sidge · 23/11/2018 16:35

Argentinian reds are generally very good. I like Malbec, Merlot and Shiraz. Any brand, as long as they're Argentinian.

ShivD · 23/11/2018 16:37

Oh and I agree with the finest Malbec, it’s really good.

Bigonesmallone3 · 23/11/2018 16:42

Another Malbec lover here
Or a good montepulciano 🍷

AdamNichol · 23/11/2018 16:54

Malbec if you like strong, deep flavour

Valpolicella / Montepulciano if you like it light

Pinot Noir if you inbetween

PickAChew · 23/11/2018 16:58

Malbec has been good, lately. Rather fond of the Trapiche Pure Malbec from coop.

n0ne · 23/11/2018 16:59

I second Primitivo and also Nero D'Avola for heavy reds. Gorgeous in this cold weather.

Forforkssake1 · 23/11/2018 21:24

Primitivo very niace! 😉☺️👌

I'm currently drinking McGuigan Black Label Shiraz. Very drinkable, which is welcome after some really shit bottles lately. Also enjoy a malbec and can confirm Wolf Blass Cab Sav is nice. A family member owned a naice pub for a while and always said you can't go far wrong with a decent Shiraz.

SherlockHolmes · 23/11/2018 21:36

Cabalie. I think it's only available through Laithwaites (mail order) though. It's the best red wine ever though.

QueenDoris · 23/11/2018 21:39

Domaine de la Romanée Conti do some very drinkable wines

Spudina · 23/11/2018 21:40

Casillero del Diablo. They make a couple of nice wines though the types are alluding me tonight! I think they do a Merlot.

AesopsMables · 23/11/2018 21:50

Frei Brothers - Cabernet Sauvignon
Get it from Waitrose

Taste like chocolate covered strawberries with a velvet finish

Bliss
