Red wine recommendations please??

Sick of my usually tipple, recommendations please for non-vinegary wines!

Argentinian Malbec :)

I second Malbec

Any particular one? (Don't have an Aldi)

The Co-op does a Pinot noir that is light and oh so very drinkable.

Wolf Blass Cab Sav is often on special and super tasty.

Campo Rioja Tempranillo also fab.

I'm also a fan of Argentinian Malbec. I also like a Shiraz (which might be the same grape).

DH likes a Merlot.

I like Fridays, which is when I drink all these delicious things!

My current favourites are Yellowtail Jammy Red Roo, and also Jamshed Shiraz

Tesco finest Argentinean malbec is really nice

Primitivo is my new fave, easy to drink and just lovely.

Argentinian reds are generally very good. I like Malbec, Merlot and Shiraz. Any brand, as long as they're Argentinian.

Oh and I agree with the finest Malbec, it’s really good.

Malbec has been good, lately. Rather fond of the Trapiche Pure Malbec from coop.

I second Primitivo and also Nero D'Avola for heavy reds. Gorgeous in this cold weather.

I'm currently drinking McGuigan Black Label Shiraz. Very drinkable, which is welcome after some really shit bottles lately. Also enjoy a malbec and can confirm Wolf Blass Cab Sav is nice. A family member owned a naice pub for a while and always said you can't go far wrong with a decent Shiraz.

Cabalie. I think it's only available through Laithwaites (mail order) though. It's the best red wine ever though.

Domaine de la Romanée Conti do some very drinkable wines

Casillero del Diablo. They make a couple of nice wines though the types are alluding me tonight! I think they do a Merlot.
