What did you do with your old maternity clothes?

I'm having a bit of a clear out and have quite a lot of nice maternity clothes that haven't been used all that much and there's no point in me keeping them as we're not planning any more children.

There's no one close to me who's likely to get pregnant in the next year or two otherwise I would keep them to pass on. I've tried selling some stuff on eBay in the past and found it more hassle than it was worth for all the money I made out of it, but can't think of what else to do with them other than putting them into the charity shop.

Any other options for selling them that I haven't thought of??

If you have time on your hands you could do a table top sale at an NCT sale event thingy?

LaPufalina · 08/11/2018 14:38

I sold mine on eBay last month and definitely not worth the hassle! I'd have done Nct table top of there was one due near me.

Charity shop for mine.

Talk to your local children's centre, they will know mums to be in need who they will be able to pass them on to.

Local facebook selling page?

Women's shelter?

Charity shop or you could try Facebook market place.

I'm so silly! I'm doing an NCT sale soon but hadn't thought I could sell maternity clothes there, thought it was just all baby stuff. So will see what I can get rid of here, and send the rest to charity or women's shelter.

Thank you wise ones, knew you'd have a solution!

Do you have cash for clothes near you? You can sell bags of clothes and get something like 50p/kilo near me. Works well if you have a decent amount, and far less hassle than selling items individually.
