An opportunity has come up to set-up and run a park cafe / deli in a really fantastic spot that's been crying out for something like this for years so I'm really keen to peruse the idea but totally clueless where to start. It would essentially be a daily cafe with seating indoors and out but also selling local produce plus space to hire out for private events (which is my background not catering!). I've been trying to find a change of path for sometime and this is the first thing that's actually got me excited but don't want to get carried away just yet 
Firstly any pointers aside from business plan/funding, what I should be considering at this stage but also wondering about the realities of actually running something like this and whether the hard work is sufficiently rewarded. Do you have any regrets about being a cafe owner?
