Bras uncomfortable at the back where the hooks are

I was just going through a bag of bras to see which ones still fitted. I've found that even though they fit and are comfortable in the right places, a few of them are scratching me at the back where the hooks are. Not all the hooks, just one at either the top or the bottom, never the middle one.

(And before anyone says it, I have already been to about 50,000 bra fittings and cannot take any more, and yes, that includes that shop beginning with B, several times, and no, I can't stand the place, so please, just don't).

I was just wondering if there was a way of sorting the hooks out.

I bought some bra extenders online (either amazon or Ebay) and they have a soft flap that completely covers all the hooks.

Ah. I already have a bra extended so I'll try that. Thank you. It didn't occur to me that this would help.

Do the hooks need squeezing with a pair of pliers so they lie flatter?

I get that occasionally and the labels in clothes can be scratchy too (ok they can be taken out). Also I once got two identical bras, different colours from Rigby and Pellar. The nude one was fine, but the white one , the lace was scratchy.

I have this problem too. I think it's lack of padding where the hooks are.
