How much does your mobile cost you a month

I have an iPhone 7s I pay £45 a month
On contract

DS2 recently got a new Samsung S8 with 20GB on Vodafone for £30 a month all in, which seemed like an excellent deal. It was through a third party site, forget which one.

With giffgaff 20GB is £20pm, so he’s effectively getting the phone for £10pm or £240 altogether, which seems very reasonable!

(Found out shortly afterwards that he could have had an S9 for just an extra £50 upfront. That was annoying.)

I have a Moto G4 bought outright for £150, then a SIM only deal for £12 a month.

Three years old and still going strong.

I can upgrade in June hoping to get iPhone 8 Plus

£48 a month for 3 sim only deals. Combined 16gb data and the usual unlimited calls and texts.

I have a 5 year old I phone 5s which is in pristine condition and still going strong although I have had the battery replaced. I bought this from new when it was the latest model as it saved around £500 than having it as part of a 2 year contract.

My sim only virgin is £9 a month for unlimited texts and calls with bonus data taking it up to 4 gB and with a roll over to the next month if it's not all used.

I've spent £14 over the last 4 months, so I make that £3.50 per month.

Mine is £85 but that’s paying for iPhone, iPad usage and broadband

I get 13g of data on phone and unlimited calls and txts
15 g on iPad
I can go sim only in December or upgrade to another phone for cheaper than paying now

Dh about a tenner a month with giffgaff as he bought his own phone

DH - Work iphone 6s - contract which is paid by work
- Personal iphone 6s - £25 pm contract. Too lazy to upgrade!

Me - iphone 7 - giffgaff - £10 pm
DS - iphone 6s - giffgaff - £15 pm
DD - iphone SE - giff gaff - £5 pm

So, £55 pcm in total for a family of 4
