£17 per month on Vodafone 30gb of data unlimited calls and texts

MrsRubyMonday · 08/11/2018 00:18

£34 a month, unlimited calls and texts, 15gb data, Samsung galaxy s9. Down from around £50 when I upgraded from the s7 which only had 5gb data which I constantly went over.

Kezzie200 · 08/11/2018 06:05

I pay for 2 and own both phones

11 for 4gb data and 600 minutes on Tesco
19 for unlimited everything on Three

insancerre · 08/11/2018 06:07

£5 with giffgaff
I bought my phone from amazon for £80

DinosApple · 08/11/2018 06:39

£5/mth for a Vodafone bundle, 100 minutes, 200 texts and a bit of data. I always run out of data though, everything else rolls over. Phone bought outright a couple of years ago.

wineandwhine · 08/11/2018 06:42

I pay £60 a month including insurance for 20GB internet and unlimited everything else on an iPhone 8 Plus.

Donthugmeimscared · 08/11/2018 06:43

Too much.

About £50 a month Blush unlimited texts, minutes and 60gb data.

Fairylea · 08/11/2018 06:46

Dh and I spend £50 each for iPhones on contract. It is a lot but to be fair we both spend a lot of time on our phones for pleasure - social media, Instagram, online shopping, music on you tube etc. For us it’s the one thing we really love (!) so to us we don’t mind spending that much. We like to upgrade to the latest model regularly.

Dd and my mum get our old phones. Dd is with giffgaff, it costs us £10 a month.

xyzandabc · 08/11/2018 06:48

Bought the phone outright, about £130. Then used a £10 bundle a month from Giffgaff. 3gb, 500 minutes and unlimited texts. I never use up the minutes and texts. If I use the 3gb they usually give me an extra 1gb for free.

Sitranced · 08/11/2018 06:58

Huawei p20 lite. £15:99 per month

whereiscaroline · 08/11/2018 07:04

Me: £19 a month for unlimited calls, unlimited texts and 20MB data with Vodafone. It's SIM only as owned phone from old contract.

DS: £23 a month for 500 mins, 500 texts and 1MB data, iPhone SE

Partner: I think about £55 a month for unlimited everything and 40GB data on the new Huawei whatever that's called. He has previously spent £75 a month on his phone!!

ChikiTIKI · 08/11/2018 07:05

£4 sim only with Plusnet

candlefloozy · 08/11/2018 07:07

Bought my
Phone outright a year ago and then paid £12 a month for 6gb data and 500mins and 500 texts. Then just reduced it to £10 a month where I get 8gb data. Unlimited texts and same mins. That's with ID mobile.

megletthesecond · 08/11/2018 07:07

£25 with O2. IIRC it's 5GB, and 1000 texts, not sure how many minutes that is. I sometimes hit my data limit but it's plenty of texts.

NewtScamandersNaughtyNiffler · 08/11/2018 07:07

Mine is about £50 per month for galaxy s9 with 8gb of data. Unlimited texts and calls. It also includes our now tv subscription.

Noboozeforme · 08/11/2018 07:08

Own both phones outright (DS and I) Samsung 9 plus and iPhone 7.

Both pay £18 a month with EE. 40G each and unlimited calls and texts.

bruffin · 08/11/2018 07:08

£23 s month for a samsung S9 4gb data and unlimited text and calls.

ShanghaiDiva · 08/11/2018 07:13

I have a second hand Huawei - bought it for GBP 40 and I probably spend about GBP 20 per year on calls and texts. Have not put any money on it since the summer.
I am in China and use wechat for calls and texts and it's all free. With a Huawei phone in China (does not work outside China) I can download any music also for free.
I would never pay GBP 50 + per month for a phone.

TheGirlOnTheLanding · 08/11/2018 07:15

Another £7.50/month GiffGaffer here. DC also on GiffGaff which means our calls and texts to one another are free. And we bought our phones outright. I don't want to pay for a phone monthly and end up paying twice the price for it in interest.

StillMedusa · 08/11/2018 07:18

£10 a month Giffgaff... could go down to £7.50. I bought a Huawei Honor 9 and it's fab...does everything my Samsung used to but cost £299 outright.

The whole family are on giffgaff and no contract phones.

Brahumbug · 08/11/2018 07:28

I pay £25 a month on a Sim only deal for 600 minutes of calls, unlimited texts and data, plus 12 gigabytes of tethering

bruffin · 08/11/2018 07:34

Giffgsff is false economy. The goody bag for the same as my contract is £12 a month, then they want £33 a month for an s9. I only £23 a month for s9 and contract. I paid £100 a month upfront. I think giff gaff want 25 up front.
