Evening alll.

I'm off to Costco later for the first time and I'm after some hints and tips for what's good to get and what to avoid.

Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

I've heard great things about the cake, and at this rate will walk out with a sugar overload! Thanks Smile

Oh I'm too late. If you all have been going to Costco and not eating yourself into a diabetic coma with their two bite brownies you have not lived. The two bite cinnamon rolls are also good but the brownies may as well have opiates in them.

Kirkland toilet paper and Kirkland kitchen paper are fab. Love their croissants and cakes in general

The croissants and danish pastry's are great - and freeze well so no need to eat all 12 in one go if you don't want to...

Kirkland (own brand) stuff that's good quality and value: Bottled water, part-baked bread,
butter, batteries,

Branded stuff that's good value: cat food, tinned tomatoes, Heinz tins, custard, mayonnaise, pampers, fabric softener, cared hand wash, treseme, iTunes vouchers (about 10%) often good deals on books too

Avoid Diet Coke and branded beers - supermarket deals are almost always better value.

Costco is great, just need lots of storage to make the best of it!

I have just returned from Costco - bought the Kirkland fake ugg boots people keep raving about for £25 they are absolutely brilliant! Real shearling too. Perfect for my fat pregnant feet this winter

Don't buy the rectangular £15 cake. It is made entirely of fake ingredients and is revolting.

They do a gin advent calendar for £60 that is better than the £100+ ones sold elsewhere because the bottles are proper double shot size not 30 ml. But you might have missed it this year.

Lavazza coffee is very cheap there.

Their chicken nuggets are amazing! £9.99 but they last for ages and are real chicken not processed. I buy kitchen roll in bulk and Kirkland dishwasher tabs. They do Skechers cheap and the ugg things they do are great. I love their huge bags of small dinner rolls and the pop tarts are cheap too.
