Using Instant Pot inner pan in a different brand cooker?

Love mine but no spare pots available. The dimensions are identical to the IP, even down to the indent.

What's the worst that could happen? Would I blow up the house? Anyone else tried this?

Bumping in case there's a morning pressure cooker enthusiasts crowd!

One more try before I reconsider blowing up the house Grin

I've just bought a Pressure King Pro. I love it. We just had a pasta Bolognese cooked from scratch within 40 mins. It tasted like I'd had it simmering away all day.
No idea about the pot you mean. Try it out and if you haven't already join the PKP page on fb (any brand allowed) they will be able to answer your question.

Tbh I would give it a go by steaming some water and seeing if it's a tight fit and what not

Ooh I want a PKP. I had some of the Gammon my sis cooked in hers and it was gorgeous. A whole joint only took her 40ish mins. I usually do mine in the slowcooker. What foods do you do? Have you had any duds?

If I only did ten mins and kept an eye on it from a distance there's not much could go wrong, is there?

@SharonBottsPoundOfGrapes, I've made and loved goulash, curry, Mexican rice and beans, yoghurt, spag bol, sausage casserole... Tis awesome.
