What a awful day :(

It can’t make its mind up here

Absolutely pissing down one minute, bright and sunny the next

Just got soaked nipping up to the postbox 100 yards away. Was lovely when I left, by the time I got up the road it was hailing, then stopped by the time I came back in

Very windy though

I want to moan! It's all windy and rainy here and it's a total pain in the arse. I don't drive and need to take my dc to the dentist this afternoon. I rarely wish I had a car but today it would make life much, much easier.

I was just thinking how lovely it was to hear the wind blowing outside! But I don't have to leave the house today so I may be biased!

We desperately need the rain. The reservoirs in the Pennines are very low. It is typical autumn weather. At least it is brighter than it was earlier.

Dd and I got soaked on the nursery run

Absolutely soaking here in the west. Went out on the bike to get milk earlier and came back looking like I'd fallen in the river.
And we've developed a new roof leak to add to the others! Hooray.
Something about the angle of the heavy rain combined with the angle of the roof on our stupid 60's donkey money-pit of a house that causes water to flood in. Our neighbours have loads of metal roasting trays in the eaves to stop the water coming through to the house!
The new leaks are depressing though. Think we might need a re-roof (sobs quietly)...
Having said that, the sun's just come out

Hammering it down where I am .

Off work sick yesterday. Wish it had been today instead - pitch black when I got up to come to work and pissing it down so hard that the drops bounced. Wearing my waterproof jacket but still looked like a drowned rat when I got here. And the rain makes my hair curly. Now it's just dark and depressing.

Soaked on the nursery run and then the second we got home it stopped like a switch

It's pouring with rain and so windy here. We live on top of a hill so it gets extra windy. I have a cold and feel pretty crap too.

Come up north 😂 it’s fine here, a bit windy but 14 degrees and dry. It’s not often we get better weather up here!

We've had everything here today. Went out without a coat this morning, it was so warm and sunny. Got home, started raining. Now it's cold and grey!

I nipped out on my lunchbreak to buy shampoo and got drenched. I also have to walk home in it for 2 miles in a bit.

Roll on summer eh

Got soaked on the way in, and am about to go back out and get soaked again. Whinge.
