Anything you just want to get over with today?

I have a job interview this morning, I just want it to be over with.

Plan A was to sleep in a bit & travel late, but woke up early, so now kicking things in grumpiness & can't concentrate or do anything useful until interview done & dusted.

Anyone else got something to 'get over with' today? (yes this is a blatant appeal for distractions)

Cleaning out the bbq - used bonfire night. I also have ironing too - yawn

Good luck with interview

Painting the kitchen.
If someone could come in and do all the boring prep so I can crack on with the fun bit that would be lovely.

Finish my assignment. I'm about 700 words short and it's due in tomorrow.

Ps good luck with your interview!

Seeing the solicitor about my mum's will. There's something I don't understand and he thinks he's already explained it to me. Blush

We've got a plasterer coming to skim the tiles were in our kitchen. Every work-person we've had in our house has moaned about the ones before and found lots of issues that they can solve, thereby making themselves the hero. I'm a bit sick of it now. I'm just hoping it all goes without a hiccup and our clever masking of the new surfaces is enough to ensure he doesn't cause any damage.

Also, I have to make the new blinds and I'm putting it off.

Also, I have to get the rest of the house straight again this morning before DH goes to work at 1pm because I'm finding that I've come to the end of my tether with the chaos here. I have ten days left off work before I start my new job and I want to get some uni work done in that time and also relax and enjoy our new kitchen! Hence why I want it all sorted by the end of today so that the only think left is painting the walls once the plaster is dry.

Horace - xpost with you. Would offer to help but as you can see, am now very fed up with kitchen renovation Grin

Crunchy - what time is your interview? Can you spend the time playing on a video game or watching a comedy? I can't read when I'm distracted by my thoughts, but I can usually kill time with a screen!

crunchydatola · 07/11/2018 08:03

Thanks. Not 100% sure I want the job but need to give it serious consideration.
A grotty BBQ sounds quite appealing at moment (any displacement activity will do). Must admit I don't like painting, though!!

Work.
I've got loads to do at home and really don't want to be there.

teaandtoast · 07/11/2018 08:04
