Starting back at work today after

14 years of being my daughters sole carer. Just training today and tomorrow but I'm excited but nervous. Its taken along time to get back to work due to my daughters disability but I am looking forward to being more human again

I returned to paid work after a 14 year gap this year. It has been a bit of a rollercoaster, so expect to feel all the feels, it still feels great to get a paycheck, and be able to talk about "my day at work". But do not doubt yourself, you have been "working" all through your employment gap, you have skills, value them and have confidence in your abilities. You can do it.

Sorry all for late reply... It went really well and enjoying it quite a bit now and finished training. So start properly my contracted hours now.
