Been surfing the net & watching trashy tv whilst the rain lashes down outside - horrid night. The bunnies are in because of fireworks but actually I’m glad as it’s blowing a hoolie! We’ve loved having house rabbits, albeit only for short periods. Don’t want them to get too used to being indoors. It’s really bonded us as a family which was much needed.

I am. I'm at my parents and I thought my Dad was having a stroke. Parents have gone off in ambulance. I couldn't leave sleeping DC. DH 200 miles away at home.

Dad seems ok but needs to be checked out. I really need to sleep but too wired.

Dapped i was in exactly your position 3 weeks ago tomorrow. I was so so worried but Dad is out of hospital and out of danger now. They really are brilliant once he's in the hospital.

Thank you thigh. The paramedics were brilliant. His blood pressure is dropping really low but he improved loads even before ambulance arrived.

I'm just glad I was here. New boiler installation has overrun my house so I stayed a day longer than planned. Mum would have been on her own otherwise.

I’m up! My 2 year old has suspected mumps. We’re just having Chuba chubs at 1am because she’s not really eating!!

Yip my 19 month old vomited everywhere and temp 39.1 at 11 cant sleep since. Temp Bk down to 37 thank god with calpol and no more vomiting

No storm here, I think that would be quite soothing.

I can’t sleep. I’m staying over at my mums after spending the evening at the hospital with my Nan who had pneumonia. My mum just text to say she died a short while ago.

She was in her 90s and lived a full life and was in a lot of pain today. Mixed emotions.

I'm up, had to finalise the programme design for a concert I'm in in 10 days time. I'm totally exhausted, but my brain is working overtime trying to distract from the difficult home life I've had this week. Dappled Dad's BP kept going through the floor too but they sorted him out. What serendipity about your boiler, the world is just strange sometimes. With Dad they treated him straight away as though he had had a stroke and a heart attack whilst they were waiting to find out. I thought that was very clever and the doctors were excellent. It sounds positive if he was starting to improve with the paramedics.

Ghost I'm sorry about your Nan, thank goodness her pain has gone.

I am awake as decided to have a coffee this evening and now can’t sleep.

My friend text a short while ago to say that her darling mum had just died. I spent the afternoon with them, knowing tat she didn’t have long left, and feel blessed to have had that time together. She was a beautiful soul.
