Do we think this is a maternity coat or just..... a really bad coat?

That's Ant, of Ant n Dec, with his girlfriend and the much fought over dog.

This coat fascinates me. Everyone is saying it must be a maternity coat, but perhaps it's just a big pink padded triangle?

It looks like an iced gem. If it were maternity it would actually be better, as you take what you can fit into and keeps you warm. (Though I still question the wisdom of buying a flesh coloured puffer coat)

Can any MN super sleuths find it IRL?

I'd find such a baggy bottomed coat would let all the cold air up my tummy. I don't like that.

You're gonna get a telling for hating on her coat and for speculation about her pregnancy. Then someone will claim they've never heard of Ant or Dec and you need real problems.

Personally I reckon she is and that coat is a fucking atrocity.

It’s none of my business as to whether she bought herself the coat or if Ant bought it but it’s jusy so hideous and expensive I’m just curious as to which one was foolish enough to do it

My duvet coat (which isn’t a triangle, literally looks like a duvet tube), has an inside flap from shoulders to waist, elasticated at the bottom. The sleeves are elasticated at the wrist on the inside.

It’s tired, old, worn and probably a bit grubby, but god is it lovely. You really can’t beat an elasticated waist!
