I had a shitty start to the week and was dreading work today but I won a competition and a lovely sum of money for gifts for xmas!!! Come on in and share your good news stories!!

Found out today we're having a baby boy 

Finally, after DW roasted our conveyancers for telling porkies, all the queries are answered and we should be exchanging contracts this week.

I managed to do a workout tonight for the first time in 3 months after a long bout of stress, anxiety and illness! Getting my mojo, muscle tone and lung capacity back as of now!

I was called into my boss' office to get a little talk, a congratulation and an additional months worth of wages for being in the firm for 20 years.

A total stranger is giving me a lift on Saturday, so I'll be able to go to a new activity for the first time.

So nice to see some happy news! I got a really really high mark on my uni assignment and I'm buzzing I worked really hard on it as I was feeling very inferior to all the young 'uns on my masters course...

Today all 3 of my adult, flown- the-nest DC have managed to coordinate themselves and arrange to visit home at the same time for the weekend.
Haven't had the whole family together since last Christmas! It's my favourite thing.

After 8 months of sheer heartache, dc2 was finally able to unlock what was causing them extreme anxiety this morning.
They were even able to let me talk to them this evening about some strategies to cope.
I'm really hoping this is a massive step forward.

And how lovely to read such uplifting posts. 

I have also won a competition, I was notified a few weeks back and received the cheque today.
I have big plans for a holiday next year

So much good news! Cheering me up on my soggy commute this morning!

Husband (who supported by me ) has been working his bollocks off recently was called into a meeting and given a 10% pay rise. All his hard work (and mine for picking up the slack at home) has paid off.

Surely there must be more good news than this?
