tuna steak

Have bought some lovely tuna steaks got dinner tonight but I've never made tuna steak before and a bit stuck for ideas. I've googled some recipes but they all seem a bit bland. Any tried and loved tuna recipes please?
Also have plenty of veg and potatoes.
Thank you

Squish some peppercorns over one side. Fry both sides till done. Serve with steamed veg and lemony potatoes.

I always find tuna steaks a bit dry so some sort of sauce to go with it maybe? Or just lots of condiments (mayo would be my preference!)

I had tuna for lunch - having fished it out of the freezer this morning - not my favourite fish but it was reduced to half price

Anyway quickly sautéed it in a bit of olive oil & butter, squished a few capers around the pan and big squirt of lemon juice. Not bad.

I very gently grill mine with a squeeze of lemon.

Serve it with green beans fried off in garlic butter and a few new potatoes

Or a green salad and fries.

ooh lemony potatoes sound nice. I can make a nice tomatoey sauce to go with it.
thank you.

Grill, serve with rice, chilli sauce and chargrilled peppers and courgettes.

Smother it in olive oil, lemon juice, chopped basil & coriander. Pan fry but only lightly - it can easily get dry & heavy. You want it still pink in the middle - think rare steak.

Or cover it in olive oil then sesame seeds. Pan fry as above & serve with a mayo that you have whipped some wasabi or sweet chilli sauce into.

Serve either with green salad & baby new potatoes. Can you tell I love tuna?!
